Use the PDF invoice form below to send in a check for membership, or pay your annual membership dues ONLINE when registering for the June meeting. Membership is for each library and not per person, so new or incoming directors please email the Treasurer or mopublibdirectors@gmail.com to check your membership status before paying dues.

DOLLS and MSLD and DOTS

There are informal subgroups of Missouri public library directors that occasionally meet or communicate about issues and topics that are more relevant to their size.

DOLLS -- Directors of Large LibrarieS includes:

Regional Groups

There are also regional groups in Missouri for public libraries to meet and share information.


3D -- Directors Dine and Discuss

Regional group in southeast Missouri, stretching from Ste. Genevieve County south to the state line, and west to Iron and Butler Counties. The group typically meets on the fourth Friday bi-monthly, and different library directors alternate hosting the group's meetings.


GRLC -- Grand River Library Conference

The Grand River Library Conference is a group of small and medium-sized public libraries in northern Missouri. GRLC is open to all libraries located north of I-70 in Missouri.  There are currently 49 eligible members in the Conference.  https://www.grandriverlibraries.org/home

Informal group of central and southwest Missouri library directors, includes the region around, Joplin, Webb City, Springfield, and Neosho.


SLRLN -- St. Louis Regional Library Network

The St. Louis Regional Library Network (SLRLN) which began in 1977, is a non-profit organization representing all library types and governed by a set of Bylaws.  Its mission is to provide opportunities and forums for libraries and librarians to share resources and to learn from each other. To fulfill its mission, SLRLN identifies the needs and resources of the library community served by the Network, develops and offers cooperative programs deemed appropriate by member libraries, and evaluates and assesses those needs and programs.  They have an annual Tech Expo conference, a Spring Speaker Series, and two additional workshops every year. SLRLN encourages partnerships and collaboration between libraries through the Info-Pass program, and works with vendors to offer product discounts to members through our Cooperative purchasing program.  https://www.slrln.org/


SWLD--Southwest Library Directors

SWLD is a group of libraries in southwest Missouri.  It is open to all public libraries in Barry, Barton, Cedar, Christian, Dade, Greene, Jasper, Lawrence, McDonald, Newton, Stone, Taney, and Vernon counties.  They meet on the 4th Tuesday of each month beginning at 10 a.m., and alternate in person meetings with Zoom meetings.
